Commercial director Jonathan White has left network Personal Touch Financial Services.

In a note to members this morning PTFS said the decision was “mutual” and his role will not be replaced.

White had been at PTFS for almost two and a half years. He joined the network in May 2011 from financial services software firm Avelo, where he was head of strategic relationships.

In the note to members, PTFS chief executive Max Wright said: “I would like to thank Jonathan for the invaluable role he has played in the last couple of years helping to drive cultural change and strengthen our business relationships with providers and lenders.

”He leaves a lot of friends with in the network who I’m sure will join my colleagues and I in wishing him well for the future.”

A new position of head of member services and operations has been created to help improve member support, with Dave Edwards taking on the role and leaving his current post as propositions manager.

Edwards has been at Personal Touch for 10 months having previously worked as programme manager for independent financial advisers Park Row Associates.
