Shaun Sandiford joins Axa Elevate

Former Ascentric head of sales Shaun Sandiford has joined the Axa Elevate platform as distribution director.
The move, revealed in this week’s Money Marketing, will see Sandiford, who left Ascentric in October last year, reporting to head of business development Andy Coleman. In his new role, Sandiford will participate in industry events to help grow the Elevate proposition.
Axa Wealth head of investments and distribution David Thompson says: “Shaun brings a wealth of practical and transitional experience to the Elevate platform. There has been a significant increase in the number of advisers adopting platforms in the run-up to the retail distribution review. In order to continue responding to the changing market dynamic and demand, Elevate will continue to grow its business development team.”
Sandiford says: “I believe that the Axa Elevate platform is a most appealing solution as it can be used both by IFAs starting the move to holistic financial planning and by those who are completing their journey.”
Sandiford joined Ascentric in November 2008 from James Hay where he was director of key accounts.
