Paul Armson leaves Prestwood
Prestwood head of marketing Paul Armson has left the technology firm.
Armson, who was closely involved with the launch of the Truth software, has stepped down to pursue other business interests.
Prestwood founder and former Institute of Financial Planning president Paul Etheridge says: “Paul has been an excellent ambassador for lifestyle financial planning and for the past three years has helped grow business volume and market share for Truth software.”
Prestwood is currently developing a national marketing and coaching team to help advisers prepare for the retail distribution review.

For 20 years I made a great living being a technical, well qualified IFA arranging appropriate funds and plans for clients.
Despite having many satisfied clients, I always felt there was ‘something’ missing in this approach.
It was after I attended one of Paul Armson’s seminars promoting ‘lifestyle financial planning’ (including Truth software) that I had that ‘light bulb’ moment.
I was able to see just how flawed the traditional IFA product-based approach to financial planning was.
Paul’s alternative approach of promoting lifestyle financial planning that focuses on the client (rather than just their money) has revolutionised the advice process in many professional IFA practices.
Paul Armson is an innovator and I await his next move with great interest.
