Nucleus finance director quits
Nucleus finance director Neil Howitt is leaving the platform.
Howitt, based in Cheltenham, resigned from the company due to the bulk of the business being based in Edinburgh.
Nucleus chief executive David Ferguson says: “Despite the fact that we are based in Edinburgh, Neil is based in Cheltenham and with the growth and development of the business coming from Edinburgh, Neil was not ready to make that move for personal reasons.
“Neil is still going to be doing some work for the company on a consultancy basis going forward.
Ferguson says the wrap will replace Howitt, and adds: “We are at a reasonably advanced stage in finding a replacement.”
Before joining Nucleus, Howitt was a senior member of St James’s Place Wealth Management Group’s finance management team.
Last month Nucleus co-founder Philip Martin was appointed F&C head of proposition for UK retail business, having left the platform in June this year.
