Intelliflo predicts surge in simplified advice solutions

Intelliflo says more software providers will consider launching an automated internet offering for simplified advisers following the implementation of the retail distribution review.

Chief executive Nick Eatock is predicting an increase in automated offerings for firms offering simplified advice, such as call centres or sales people.

Eatock says a fully automated internet offering would support simplified advice processes by offering a configurable bridge between traditional advice and execution only.

He says: “It would provide a full audited control over the entire process and allow the end-customer to select their chosen advice model - for example face to face, call centre, internet - in a single framework.”

He adds: “The FSA has confirmed that such processes are compliant under the new regulatory regime and so this has led to larger organisations to start experimenting with technology solutions already.”
