Cofunds unveils 120 funds on guided architecture panel
Cofunds has unveiled the 120 funds sitting on its new guided architecture panel set up by OBSR.
The funds cover a total of 26 sectors and range from 14 offerings in the UK all-companies sector to just one in the likes of the UK equity and bond income and technology and telecoms sectors.
Larger firms dominate the list with Jupiter leading the way with a total of 10 funds on the panel. The likes of M&G, Schroders and Invesco Perpetual also feature strongly.
The research solutions, which also include four model portfolios using risk profiles four to seven, will launch on the platform on December 21, 2009.
Cofunds marketing and proposition director Alastair Conway says: “Into 2011 we will add other people who have done the research other than just OBSR. The sort of groups include Mercers, that is an example. We will talk to all of those houses over time and come to a conclusion of the best two or three to add to that. We would like a couple more to compliment what OBSR do.
“Whoever comes on we want to be a little different so there is a choice, so people can not only have OBSR, but they can have three different options.”
