Cofunds appoints senior sales staff

Cofunds has appointed four account managers to the platform’s senior sales team.

Tony Lord has been appointed as regional account manager for the Midlands with immediate effect. He was previously one of the top sales managers for rival platform Skandia.

David Groves also joins with immediate effect from Scottish Widows, and will be focusing on the East region.

Justin Cooper will be joining later this month from Zurich to cover the South East region, while in August David Butler joins the platform and will based in London.

Butler was previously director of third party distribution at Insight.

Head of sales Nick Godfrey says: “The strength of these appointments demonstrates our commitment to significantly improving our service to advisers across the UK. Each one of our new account managers has been able to demonstrate a lasting and consistent ability to build strong, productive relationships. Coupled with the improvements to our head office based support, we are extremely confident of taking our sales service to the next level.”
