Software firm Iress has ann-ounced Assureweb as its first quotation portal integration.

The Australian adviser software firm, which launched in the UK in November through its link-up with Sesame Bankhall Group, is now looking to add new firms of around 10 advisers.

Through Assureweb’s APe program, advisers will have access to 35 product providers.

Iress says it expects to make a number of further integration announcements in the coming weeks.

The integration will not be available to Sesame members who use Iress, as the network currently has a strategic portal partnership with Avelo.

Sesame announced in November it had signed a strat- egic partnership with the UK arm of Iress, which sees the network using Iress’ front, middle and back office software program Xplan from June.

Iress business development director Mark Loosmore says: “It is our belief that the Iress front-end tool capability and experience, coupled with Assureweb’s quotation service combines to give one of the most compelling advice systems in the market.”

Iress announced in November that it expects to invest £10m in the next three years establishing a presence in the UK, alongside rolling its software programme out to Sesame members.
