Ascentric sales head Sandiford quits platform
Ascentric head of sales Shaun Sandiford has left the platform to pursue other interests.
Sandiford joined Ascentric in November 2008 from James Hay, where he was director of key accounts.
His departure comes amid a flurry of moves in the platform sector.
Earlier this month, Money Marketing revealed that Cofunds finance director Andrew Harris is leaving the platform along with co-founder Andy Creak. Former Skandia UK business unit head of finance Mark Williams is joining Cofunds as finance director and Fidelity FundsNetwork head David Dalton-Brown is leaving the firm and his replacement yet to be announced.
Ascentric head of marketing Dominic Ventham says: “Shaun felt it was the right time to move on. He wanted to pursue other interests. It is likely that we will get a replacement in.”
Threesixty partner Phil Young says: “There seems to be a merry-go-round at the moment. Something tells me that sales targets will be a lot tougher in 2010.”
