Ascentric hires IT director

Ascentric has appointed Jon Finn as IT director from 1st - The Exchange, where he is currently chief technology officer.
Finn, who joins Ascentric on June 14, will lead the future design and functionality of the wrap platform.
He has worked in financial services software for more than 20 years, developing the Officeweb product that was subsequently acquired by Crisp Computing in 2000.
Finn says: “With platforms playing a key role in helping adviser firms move to the new RDR world, I am looking forward to using my experience in driving the Ascentric proposition forward and helping them consolidate their emerging position as the wrap of choice in the adviser market.”
Managing director Hugo Thorman adds: “Jon brings to the company a wealth of knowledge and experience in adviser-facing technology as well as effective IT management, and will ensure the Ascentric Wrap continues to evolve to meet the needs of advisers and their clients.”
