I thought your editorial comment on Mr Fisher of Towry Law was inordinately polite and respectful. I would put it more like this - he is making extraordinary attempts to justify a completely untenable position which is, by his own admission, that they keep on taking money from clients and giving nothing back. And that the amount is £6m a year. And they cannot track it.
Then he attempts to justify his position by slagging off everybody else. Well, I have news for Mr Fisher. Some of us can and do track trail commission and some of us use it to deliver an ongoing service.
Some of us have even informed their clients that if we ever fall out or fail to deliver what we should, they can go to a new adviser and take their trail commission with them. Perhaps Towry Law’s clients should be informed of that option
