Lansons appoints Mark Penton as director

Lansons Communications has appointed Mark Penton as a director of its regulatory consulting practice.
Penton, who joins from Sesame Bankhall Group, has over 20 years’ experience of working with regulators, trade bodies and regulated firms, including 16 years at Norwich Union.
Penton will work alongside director of regulatory consulting Richard Hobbs and head of public affairs Ben Abbots.
Lansons chief executive Tony Langham says: “This appointment reinforces our commitment to building a regulatory consulting practice at Lansons, following the flying start that Richard has made and the significant amount of business currently available in this area.
“The financial services sector is going through a time of significant change and regulatory consulting is a burgeoning area.”
