Aviva RDR manager moves to L&G

Aviva RDR implementation manager Ross Anderson is leaving the company to take up a role with Legal & General.
Anderson (pictured) will leave Aviva on 7 September and join L&G on 22 October as head of strategy and change delivery for groupwide financial services.
He joined Aviva, then Norwich Union, as part of the company’s graduate trainee scheme in 2002.
He has since worked at Aviva in a number of roles including leading change programmes such as Aviva’s response to the FSA’s treating customers fairly initiative. He took on the role of RDR implementation manager in January 2011.
Aviva has yet to recruit a replacement for Anderson.
Anderson says: “I have really enjoyed the past 10 years with Aviva and am proud of the successes of the RDR programme as well as the continual support that we deliver to advisers. I will really miss all my friends and colleagues but I am excited about the opportunity at L&G and am looking forward to meeting my new team.”
Aviva intermediary director Andy Beswick says: “Ross has made a huge contribution to the delivery of our RDR programme. He will be very much missed and we wish him every success for the future.”
L&G was unavailable for comment.

RDR Manager? Is the job now defunct?
All companies should have implemented it now.
More like the guy's out of job TBH.

Hardly news worthy to me.
Anyway good luck to the chap.

If you think the RDR is fully delivered, across the providers, then you're being incredibly naive - even the initial, and highly-flawed, CBA suggested it would be an incredible task.
I suspect this is more to do with how L&G are wanting to play out in the UK.
