Swiss Re appoints head of client markets for UK/Ireland

Swiss Re has appointed Russell Higginbotham as head of client markets for UK and Ireland.
Higginbotham will manage the UK branch of Swiss Re Europe and will take up the post in May, when he returns from Swiss Re’s Australian operation which he has headed since 2006.
Mark Senkevics will replace Higginbotham in Australia, while interim head of client markets for UK and Ireland Bruce Hodkinson will relocate to the company’s offices in Zurich to head Swiss Re’s business in Africa and the Middle East.
