Northern Rock picks L&G for protection business

Northern Rock has teamed up with Legal and General to provide protection and investment business.
L&G will provide the bailed-out bank with life protection and investment products.
The provider’s products will be available to Northern Rock’s customers through its branches, call centres and online.
L&G managing director of bank & building society distribution Chris Last says: “We will work with Northern Rock to deliver a compelling offering to their customers and to grow our protection and investment businesses.”
