LV= appoints strategy director for life and pensions

LV= has appointed Myles Rix as its new actuarial and strategy director for life and pensions.
Rix joins the provider from Aviva Health where he was finance and commercial director.
He will now be responsible for the life and pensions actuarial pricing teams, the development of the life business unit strategy and will also contribute to group wide initiatives such as Solvency II.
LV= managing director of life and pensions Richard Rowney says: “LV= continues to grow its life and pensions business following an extremely successful 2009. We are delighted to announce that Myles is joining us to help build on this success.”
