Fortis Life poaches Bupa's head of sales

Fortis Life UK has appointed former Bupa head of sales Mark Anders to lead the protection sales division at Fortis.
Anders will also support the company’s growth and will work to build relationships within the IFA market.
During his time at Bupa Anders led the sales activities for UK protection across the adviser and direct channels. He previously led LV=’s national account team.
Former head of sales and marketing Ian Jeffries will now concentrate solely on marketing.

The appointment comes one month after Fortis Life UK launched its products to the whole of the IFA market.
