Exeter Friendly appoints head of intermediary sales

Exeter Friendly has appointed Mike O’Brien as its new head of intermediary sales.
The mutual insurer trades under both it’s Exeter Friendly and Pioneer brands.
O’Brien joins from JMD Associates where he was head of sales and marketing. Previously, he worked as head of Business development at Alexander Forbes healthcare and for Axa PPP Healthcare.
Exeter Friendly sales and marketing director Richard Wyatt-Haines says: “We are dedicated to financial advisers so this is a key appointment. Mike brings a wealth of experience in both healthcare and protection, so he fits our business model perfectly.”
