Canada Life Group Insurance reshuffles sales management team
Canada Life Group Insurance has restructured its sales management team with the creation of a new role to develop the London consultancy and group risk account manager panels.
Dan Crook will take up the newly created role as head of sales (London) and strategic partnerships on July 1. Previously Crook worked on the group insurance side at Canada Life as class business development manager, before transferring to Canada Life Wealth Management.
Bob Free will adopt a new role as head of sales (Bristol) where he will be responsible for a panel of regional group risk account managers and the business development unit team.
Meanwhile Colin Matson, previously distribution director, will become customer relationships director and will replace Pete Cole prior to Cole’s retirement on September 1.
Paul Avis, sales and marketing director at CLGI, says: “We are in an area of financial services that is undergoing rapid change and to significantly grow the group risk market we need to be structured in a way that maximises each and every opportunity to do so.”
