IFA in plans for new network

Protection specialist Personal Touch Insurance is set to establish a new IFA network within six months. The financial services company, which last week announced the sale of a 9.99 per cent stake to Aegon for around £2m, aims to have an operational low-cost network before the end of the second quarter of the year. Tenet group continues expansion with purchase of 100-RI firm

IFA network group Tenet has bought Capital Planning UK, a regional IFA with 100 RIs based in the South-east. The move is the latest in the group's strategy to invest in its members and clients of its businesses, including networks M&E and Interdependence, mortgage network IMA and service provider IFA Professional.
