BUDGET 2010: Growth forecast for 2010 remains at 1-1.5%

Chancellor Alistair Darling has maintained his growth forecast for 2010 at between 1 and 1.5 per cent.
But he has reduced his growth forecast for 2011 to between 3 and 3.5 per cent, down from 3.25 to 3.75 per cent, in line with predictions from the City.
The Chancellor said the inflation target remains unchanged at 2 per cent.
