Royal London signs transfer deal for proposed Royal Liver takeover
Royal London has signed a deal that sets out the potential transfer of Royal Liver’s asset and liabilities to Royal London.
The deal is subject to regulatory approvals and the approval of Royal Liver’s delegates at Royal Liver’s annual general meeting, which is set for early May 2011.
In June 2010, the pair signed an exclusivity deal which began the due-diligence process to see whether a deal would be in the best interest of both groups. Royal London has been in talks Royal Liver since February 2010.
