IFG Group hires Evelyn Bourke as a non-exec

James Hay parent IFG Group has hired Friends Life chief commercial officer Evelyn Bourke as a non-exec director.
Bourke now heads up Friends Life’s Heritage Business and is responsible for group strategy and capital as well as overseeing Sesame.
Dublin-based IFG Group has had a number of approaches to buy the business which it is considering.
IFG Group chairman Joe Moran says: “She brings a wealth of experience in UK Financial Services which is particularly useful given the increased scale of our UK business following the acquisition of James Hay”.
