Cofunds teams up with Technical Connection for pension consolidation seminars

Cofunds is teaming up with Technical Connection to run a series of pension consolidation master classes across the UK.
Cofunds’ decision to hold the eight seminars comes after research found a clear need for pensions consolidation advice.
Research found 33 per cent of respondents said they have no idea what their assets are worth and 66 per cent said they would like to find a way of keeping their savings and investment assets in one place.
The classes will cover pension transfers, suitability issuesand regulatory issues.
Cofunds marketing and proposition director Alastair Conway says: “Pension consolidation presents a huge opportunity for advisers and our research shows that consumer demand is there too.
“This is all about helping advisers manage investment for post-work living for clients, in a flexible environment away from poorly performing, old fashioned, opaque products.”
