Aegon UK appoints Philip Easter as non-exec chairman
Aegon has appointed former Aviva director Philip Easter as non-executive chairman of the Aegon UK insurance companies board.
Easter takes over the role from Bill Shannon, who will step down at the end of this year to focus on other non-executive roles.
Aegon UK chief executive Adrian Grac0 (picture) says: “Philip’s experience of leading business transformation will be of great benefit in his role, providing challenge and support to the UK executive team as we position the business for success in the run up to RDR and beyond.”
Easter’s was previously managing director of finance at Aviva, finance director at Norwich Union and Aviva USA chief financial officer.
