Nucleus has made two new appointments within its technical and business development teams.

Alison Hewison has been appointed to the newly created position of business analyst and will report directly to chief technology officer Andrew Smith.

Hewison previously worked for the student loans company.

Nichola Burns has also been promoted to the role of events manager and will assist communications director Rebecca Christensen with the delivery of the marketing strategy for the business.

The events manager role has been created to support the business development plans and organise Nucleus events such as the quarterly user sessions for para planners and strategy sessions for member IFAs.

Chief executive, David Ferguson says: “With over 300 advisers already using the platform, these appointments come at an exciting stage in Nucleus’ development for future growth.

“They will be instrumental in delivering a seamless process for our existing member advisers and central to our business development strategy as we look to attract more in the future.”
