Niall Gallagher joins Gam

Niall Gallagher has joined Gam from T Rowe Price to manage the group’s GAM Star European equity and GAM star continental European equity funds.
Gallagher, who was previously at BlackRock, will join the group on November 2 and will take over the funds from early December.
Both are run by John Bennett, who in leaving the group later this year to join Gartmore.
Gallagher managed pan-European and continental European equities at T Rowe Price for two years. Prior to this he was at BlackRock for nine years, where he was an investment analyst and managed both continental and pan-European equity strategies.
