Witan appoints ex-Lehman director to board

Hannah Stodell
Witan has appointed Catherine Claydon as non-executive director to the board with immediate effect.

Claydon was previously managing director of Lehman’s pensions advisory group responsible for Dutch pension clients.

Witan independent non-executive director Alan Jones will stand down at this year’s annual general meeting to be held on April 28.

Witan Investment Trust chairman Harry Henderson says: “Catherine will be a very welcome addition to the board of Witan. Having held senior positions at Goldman Sachs and subsequently Lehman Brothers within the pension division she brings with her a breadth of experience that will fully complement the existing skills of the Trust’s other non-executive.”
