Polar Capital plans fund launch for ex-Threadneedle duo
Polar Capital has announced that North America fund manager duo Andrew Holliman and Richard Wilson have joined the firm and will manage a fund launched for them within a few months.
Prior to joining Polar Capital, Holliman and Wilson worked for Threadneedle where they managed in excess of $6bn of Northern American equity assets.
Polar Capital today announces that Andrew Holliman and Richard Wilson have joined Polar Capital to form a North American equities team. The team will begin working on a North American Ucits fund that is anticipated to launch within a few months.
Polar Capital chief executive Tim Woolley says: “The recruitment is consistent with our strategy of seeking to expand our product offering to clients through the hiring of experienced managers with a proven record of outperformance”.
