Liontrust appoints duo to head up marketing department

Christopher Jarvis
Liontrust has announced the appointment of Nick Pilkington and Simon Hildrey to its marketing department.

Simon Hildrey will be marketing and communications director, and Nick Pilkington will be appointed head of marketing. Both will begin their new roles on November 1.

The pair replace current marketing director Rob Page, who is joining Ignis next month.

Hildrey will oversee the marketing department, including all of the communications aspects. He has been the head of communications since joining Liontrust in July 2008.

Pilkington will manage the marketing team and report to Hildrey. He is currently marketing manager and has been with Liontrust for 10 years.

Liontrust chief executive Nigel Legge says: “Simon has a wealth of communications’ experience and excellent industry and client contacts based on more than ten years in the investment funds industry, at Liontrust and as a financial journalist.”

He says: “Nick compliments this with the continuity of having worked in Liontrust’s marketing team for the past 10 years and this is a natural move into the role of head of marketing.”
