Williams will support the London sales team, promote the product range in the UK and work on third party relationships, such as fund platforms and distributors.
Williams joins from Threadneedle where she worked with life companies, platforms, fund of funds and stockbrokers, IFAs and private banks.
Julius Baer International head of UK sales Stephen Moore says: ““Since the launch, we have seen a surge in demand for UK registered Julius Baer products. Investors are looking for funds that offer diversification with stable returns in non-traditional fixed income, equities and alternative investments such as gold.
“The Julius Baer physical gold fund recently exclusively launched onto the Canada Life International platform and we plan to make more platform launches to give UK investors access to Julius Baer products. Marion’s appointment strengthens our ability to market to UK investors and meet their investment appetite.”
