Incapital MD Chris Taylor resigns and launches his own consultancy
Incapital Europe’s managing director Christopher Taylor has resigned and launched his own consultancy The Investment Bridge.
Taylor’s resignation from the structured product provider leaves James Chu at the helm.
The duo founded Blue Sky Asset Management in 2006, before the firm was taken over by Incapital in 2010.
Taylor’s new firm, The Investment Bridge, is offering consultancy and a halfway house between investment banks and product providers, connecting them to IFAs and wealth managers.
Taylor says: “I can sit between fund managers, investment banks and IFAs and I can potentially offer consultancy services to both the providers and the wealth managers and IFAs.”
The consultancy won’t be restricted to structured investment, but cover a wide range of areas, and “potentially bring in propositions that are not otherwise in the UK to high-end wealth managers.”
He says there are no plans for any fund launches.
