Henderson New Star appoints co-manager for UK property trust

Henderson New Star has appointed Ainslie McLennan as co-manager of the New Star UK property unit trust.
McLennan joined Henderson Global Investors in 2002. She has been responsible for running UK and European commercial property portfolios for a range of institutional clients.
She will work alongside Marcus Langlands Pearse who joined Henderson from New Star.
Henderson New Star head of property business Mark Carpenter: “Ainslie’s wealth of experience and knowledge of the UK commercial property market will complement that of Marcus. Whilst the economic environment remains challenging, there are some positive signs that the UK market is beginning to stabilise and I am confident that under both Ainslie and Marcus’ stewardship, investors in the New Star UK Property Unit Trust will be served well going forward.”
