GLG Partners launches global sustainability equity fund
GLG Partners today confirmed the launch of the GLG global sustainability equity fund.
The fund will focus on a range of large and mid-sized firms in a number of sectors focusing on sustainability.
These include healthcare, education, services, waste and water management, agriculture, transportation, alternative energy, industrials and the efficient deployment of resources and infrastructure.
The fund will be managed by Jason Mitchell, who has over 10 years experience in long/short portfolio management.
Mitchell worked at GLG between 2004 and 2008 and rejoined the firm last year.
