GE Money Home Lending has appointed Ian Ferguson as its new chief operating officer.

Ferguson will be reporting to GEMHL chief executive Colin Shave and will be responsible for all GEMHL specialist mortgage operations.

Shave says: “With such challenging conditions in the market, this is a key role and an important appointment for GEMHL. With his significant experience and knowledge of the UK mortgage market, Ian will be a valuable asset to our senior management team.”

Ferguson says: “I look forward to working with GE’s experienced management team to ensure we continue to serve the specialist mortgage market throughout these difficult times and beyond.”
