Eden Financial launches UK all-cap fund for Himsworth

Eden Financial launches the CF Eden UK select opportunities fund for new recruit Leigh Himsworth today.
The fund will typically have around a third in FTSE 100 companies, a third in FTSE mid 250 and a third in small caps with a small amount in cash. It will hold between 40 and 60 stocks and no stock will have more than a 5 per cent position.
The minimum investment is £1,000 and it has an initial charge of 5 per cent and annual management charge of 1.5 per cent for retail clients. It will target a yield of 2.66 per cent.
Himsworth says: “Each of the fund’s investments will contribute something different to the portfolio and I will seldom duplicate ideas. I use a highly disciplined approach to monitor individual stocks and run a well-diversified portfolio.”
Former Gartmore managers Leigh Himsworth and Dan Roberts joined Eden Financial in July. A global equity income fund will be launched for Roberts later in the year.
