Towergate Financial has appointed Warren Page as its new chief operating officer.

Page joins from Origen Financial Services where he has been director of client services since July 2008.

He will report to chief executive Dan Saulter and will start his new role in January.

Separately, director of strategic accounts Paul chafer will take on a new role of corporate development director and will report to Saulter.

Saulter says: “We are entering a very important stage in the development of our business, and to attract someone of Warren’s calibre to lead our financial planning arm speaks volumes for our plans.  We are actively looking for new advisers and to acquire good businesses to help grow the company.  With Warren’s experience in running a national operation I am confident we can continue to grow quickly.”

  • Great to see Dan Saulter building a powerful team for growth. Certainly appointing Paul Chafer as corporate development director is a very smart move: great experience and Paul's always keen to make a deal happen and to drive mutual value out of relationships. Good luck to them - it deserves to prosper.
