SimplyBiz hires Martin Reynolds as mortgages chief exec

SimplyBiz Group has appointed Martin Reynolds to the newly created role of chief executive of its mortgage club.
Reynolds will take responsibility for all aspects of running the mortgage club and will report to Matthew Timmins, the joint managing director of the SimplyBiz Group.
In March 2010, Reynolds left his role as director of PMS. Other previous roles include head of sales at BM Solutions, commercial director at edeus.
SimplyBiz chairman Ken Davy says: “SimplyBiz Mortgages has been growing year-on-year for the last four years and we have some exciting plans ahead. We are delighted that Martin has agreed to join us, he has a wealth of experience on both the intermediary and lender side of distribution and we feel he is an excellent fit to help us take SimplyBiz Mortgages to the next level.”
Reynolds says: “Simply Biz Mortgages is a well run and growing business and as part of the SimplyBiz Group is in a strong position to continue expanding and become a strong competitor in the mortgage club world. I am pleased to be joining at such an exciting time and I am looking forward to working with the team.”
