RICS appoints CEO

The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors has appointed chief operating officer Sean Tompkins as its new chief executive.
Tompkins, also former Prudential director of marketing and distribution, will assume his new role later this year following the retirement of Louis Armstrong.
RICS president Max Crofts says: “RICS is at an important point in its development and Sean Tompkins has the knowledge, ambition, energy and leadership skills to build on its growing reputation as the mark of property professionalism worldwide.”
