Northern Rock appoints new chief financial officer
Northern Rock has appointed Jim McConville as its new chief financial officer.

McConville (pictured) joins from Lloyds Banking Group, where he was financial director of both Scottish Widows Group and the insurance and investment divisions, on 8 April. He will replace Ann Godbehere, who quit the role over a year ago.
He previously held the positions of director of group strategy, monitoring and planning, and director of finance within Lloyds.
Northern Rock chairman Ron Sandler says: “He brings with him a wealth of experience in all aspects of finance, as well as strategic planning and cost-efficiency. Jim’s role will be central to developing a strong financial focus as the Company moves forward.
“His appointment further strengthens our senior management team and I am confident that we now have in place a group whose vision for the Company is clear and focused.“
