Jon King appointed MD of More 2 Life

Former Ship chairman Jon King has been appointed as managing director of Key Retirement Solutions’ lending arm, More 2 Life.
King has worked in the financial services industry for twenty-five years. Prior to chairing Ship, King was managing director of Hodge Lifetime and was a member of the FSA’s equity release forum.
Key Retirement Solutions group director Paul Wilson says: “Jon’s appointment confirms our commitment to expanding the More 2 Life proposition and lending capability. I am pleased that Jon has decided to join More 2 Life at this critical stage in the companies’ development.
“More 2 Life will continue to develop innovative products and seek funding partners to meet growing demand.”
King adds: “I am delighted to be joining More 2 Life and have been very impressed by the ambition and future plans of the group and look forward to working with Paul and the rest of the team in achieving these goals.
“Paul and I have worked together in the industry for over thirteen years and share the same ethics and drive for our industry to be a success.”

This is possibly some of the best news the equity release sector has enjoyed in recent times. The significance in appointing a man of Jon King's calibre and industry standing to Managing Director at More2Life should not be underestimated.
