Gerry O’Brien leaves First Complete

First Complete chief executive Gerry O’Brien has left the firm with immediate effect.

O’Brien was chief executive of Home of Choice before it was brought from administration by LSL for £1.5m.

Earlier this month O’Brien told Money Marketing, in his first interview since the takeover, that it was the network’s inability to service debts created in 2005 that led it into administration.

O’Brien’s role as chief executive will pass to LSL Group Financial Services director Jon Round. Former Home of Choice commercial director John Ahmed is also set to leave the firm.

Round says: “Having spent the last few weeks finalising the integration of Home of Choice into First Complete we have mutually agreed to part company with Gerry O’Brien.

“I would like to thank Gerry for all his help in bringing the business to this point and his hard work in helping to secure the future of the business and the future for all First Complete’s appointed representatives. We wish him every success in his future career.”
