Management reshuffle at BlackRock
Alex Hoctor-Duncan has been appointed head of Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) retail sales in a management reshuffle at BlackRock.
Tony Stenning will now take on the role of head of UK retail at the firm, responsible for the sales, distribution and marketing of the group’s retail fund range.
Hoctor-Duncan was first named head of UK retail in 2007, when he took over the position from Richard Royds. Maarten Slendebroek was the head of EMEA retail sales until he moved across to head up BlackRock Solutions last year. The position has been vacant until now.
Stenning joined BlackRock in 2000 and has worked in the group’s private client division, as a managing director of the unit trust business. He was most recently director of UK retail products and client strategies.
