UK equities chief Jane leaves M&G
M&G head of UK equities David Jane has left the company with immediate effect.
An M&G spokesman says Jane, who also ran the £682m managed fund and the £280m cautious multi-asset fund, has left the firm to “explore other opportunities”, which could possibly include a new role elsewhere in the Prudential Group, which owns M&G.
In a statement, M&G says Jane’s departure follows a change to the senior equities management team which has seen head of macro investment business Dave Fishwick appoin-ted to the new role of head of retail investment management.
Multi-asset team member George Tsinonis has taken over running of the cautious multi-asset and managed funds and will continue to run the global dynamic allocation fund.
Chief executive of equities Ed Rosengarten is also leaving the company. He will remain until September to ensure a smooth handover of responsibilities.
Stephanie Butcher has taken over the Invesco Perpetual European equity income fund after manager Katharina Hoyland left to become a full-time mother. Butcher will also take over the equity part of the Invesco Perpetual European high-income fund, starting in November 2010.
