Trustnet aids advisers with asset manager factsheets
Trustnet has launched a series of qualitative group factsheets to help advisers and private investors compare the strengths and weaknesses of a number of asset managers.
The factsheets are based on interviews with senior members of staff at the asset manager and also cover risk management, investment process, remuneration and lock-ins for senior staff.
The first tranche will include more than 20 asset managers, with others to follow in the coming weeks. The factsheets will also offer quantitative research, such as the retail/institutional split of assets and exposure to asset classes and regions in terms of assets under management.
Fund details and ratings from OBSR and Standard & Poor’s will also be shown, alongside Financial Express ratings and alpha manager status.
Financial Express director of publishing Mike Jones says: “Our entire range of factsheets is geared towards assisting IFAs and private investors to select the most appropriate funds and managers to achieve their investment objectives. We believe these factsheets will be an indispensable tool for investors.”
