Dawkins was previously head of multi-manager at Aberdeen Asset Manager and, prior to that, managing director of RBS Asset Management Ltd. He has also held positions at Coutts, LCF Edmond de Rothschild and John Govett.
Towry CEO Andrew Fisher says: “We are delighted to welcome Robert to Towry and to be able to attract such an experienced investor to be our chief investment officer.
“We now have over £3.6 billion of client assets under discretionary management. Our investment management process is strong and robust and our team experienced and focused on managing the affairs of our client. The addition of Bob to the team will help us, and our clients, in our next phase of development and growth.”
