RLAM unveils global index linked fund
Royal London Asset Management has launched a global index linked fund.
Managed by George Henderson, the fund aims to provide an annualised returns over 1 per cent against its benchmark, the Barclays World Government Inflation-Linked Bond index, over rolling three year periods.
Henderson, aided by Paul Raynor and Craig Inches in RLAM’s government bond team, invests in between 30 and 60 holdings, predominantly in global index linked bonds and hedged to sterling.
The manager also has the ability to invest up to 30 per cent of the portfolio in both conventional government bonds and investment grade corporate debt.
Structured as a British Oeic, the fund has been placed in the Investment Management Association global bonds sector and carries a minimum investment of £1,000. The initial fee is 4 per cent, while the annual management charge is 0.7 per cent.
