Resolution appoints three European directors
Resolution has appointed three new directors to its board.
Former Swiss Re chief executive Jacques Aigrain, former Aviva Spain chief executive Gerardo Arostegui and founder of private equity firm PPF Partners Mel Carvill, will join on February 1.
All three directors have experience and expertise across the European financial services industry.
Resolution chairman Mike Biggs says the new appointments will give the life company consolidator, run by Clive Cowdery and John Tiner, an insight into the consolidation of the financial services sector across Europe.
Resolution Operations chief executive John Tiner says: “As Resolution executes its restructuring plans across the insurance, asset management and banking sectors, the contribution of Jacques, Gerardo and Mel will be invaluable.”
Resolution acquired Friends Provident in November last year.
