Odey fund off to Dublin

Insynergy Investment Management is changing the structure and domicile of its Odey fund to a Dublin-based Ucits.

The fund, run by chief investment officer Crispin Odey, is operating under a Nurs structure. It will be redomiciled alongside the absolute China and absolute India funds, which were launched earlier this year.

The annual charge will fall slightly but the total expense ratio will stay the same.

Chief executive officer Spike Hughes says: “The main rationale for doing this was to make life easier for customers by having one administration platform to deal with as opposed to two. We use State Street as our third-party administrator in Dublin and we like their work so the whole thing just made sense.”
