LVAM appoints chief investment officer

Piers Hillier has joined LV= Asset Management as its chief investment officer.
He will report to Ann Roughead, the managing director.
Hillier was formerly the head of investment at West LB Mellon Asset Management, and has also been a managing director at Deutsche Asset
Management.
He has previously held positions at Schroders on the pan-European team, and at Deloitte & Touche, an accountancy firm.
